You are on this screen because you have clicked on what could have been a potential Phishing email which could have been extremely damaging for you and/or the organisation. FORTUNATELY, this was just a simulated attack email sent by our Information Security Group. Hence no damage done.

If this was an actual Phishing email, clicking on the link could have resulted into :

• Malware getting downloaded unknowingly and encrypting data on computers
• Spread of malicious code inside SIDBI systems & networks
• Harvest your user credentials and have a multi-fold impact i.e. non-financial and financial.

You can easily spot a phishing mail and protect yourself & the organisation by identifying common characteristics/mistakes in a phishing email like :

• Has improper spelling or grammar
• Asks for personal information
• Include suspicious attachments
• Has links to sites that misspells familiar URL
• Creates a sense of urgency
• Has the offer of financial rewards
